The 4th Workshop Report on “Cooperation on the Preservation of the Ecosystem in the neighboring areas of Japan and Russia” is now released from the Ministry of Environment in Japan. It was held in Moscow at Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia last October 25-26. It reports changing ecosystem in the Japan-Russia’s neighboring areas under changing climate both in Japanese and Russian. The 5th workshop is planed to be held in Japan this year. The principle theme of the 5th workshop will be changes in ocean ecosystems in the Sea of Okhotsk in changing climate.
